REASON FOR LIVING: STILL A KID WITH DREAMS

REASON FOR LIVING: STILL A KID WITH DREAMS

The Reason For Living Tee has layers.

Japanese fashion and design have inspired me since I was young. That world is part of what made me fall in love with clothing in the first place. The balance of typography, symbolism and powerful imagery showed me that a shirt could communicate more than a logo.

The tigers represent strength. They are powerful animals that do not take anything from anyone. I connect with that energy—not because life is always easy, but because I refuse to let life make me passive.

The line that holds the entire piece together for me is: Still a kid with dreams.

No matter how old I get or how much I have been through, that part of me is still alive. The dreams give me a reason to keep going, to keep creating and to not give up when things become dark.

WHAT THE JAPANESE TEXT MEANS

まだ夢を持つ子供
Still a kid with dreams.

地獄を我が物顔で歩け
Walk through hell like you own it.

Together with A Reason for Living, those lines carry the full meaning of the graphic: protect the part of you that still dreams, and move through the hardest parts of life without surrendering your identity.

TWO EXPRESSIONS

The tee is offered in White and Blue and Black and Cream. Both are custom cut and sewn from soft, heavyweight 320 GSM cotton with an oversized fit and strong graphic placement.
